Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home and at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Milton Park - Oxfordshire)

About the role:
This is a permanent, full-time role within the Network Services Team (NST) reporting to the Network Security Services Manager. Jisc currently provides a range of network security services and we are looking to recruit a team member to help develop and further enhance these services. Continued training and development in key areas associated with the services will be offered regularly.
Responsibilities will include:
• Contribute to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement of the services’ administrative processes
• Support the production of service documentation, reporting and compliance with procedures
• Organise meetings and scoping calls (internal and external) with members/customers and internal stakeholders
• Help to ensure the team can run services effectively and support this process with strong attention to detail
• Respond to member/customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Process tickets in Jisc's ITSM and escalate where necessary
Key Skills and Experience:
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to build effective working relationships; be able to communicate clearly, positively and respectfully, whether verbally or in writing
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Defining, prioritising and evaluating work
• Some understanding of a range of project support and management techniques
• Ability to quickly learn and effectively use a full range of software tools.
• Experience of effectively working in a team in a complex environment and delivering valuable outputs.
• Experience of working in a technology innovation environment
• Experience of using Microsoft SharePoint and the full Microsoft suite of tools within Office365.
