Contract: 12-month fixed term contract
Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Harwell)

About the role:
The team sit within the strategy & corporate services directorate and are responsible for delivering strategic projects across the organisation. We operate an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) which acts as a centre of excellence for all projects and programmes within Jisc.
You will be expected to work on a variety of projects, ranging from internal IT system implementation / enhancements, product development, and complex business change. The projects you work on may be part of a programme.
Responsibilities will include:
• Facilitating communication between project stakeholders and workstreams – including managing dependencies, monitoring progress, and chairing effective meetings
• Supporting project governance – including preparing all relevant documentation, managing risk, managing changes, managing stage gates, weekly and monthly reporting, decision logging, and budget tracking
• Driving project planning and forecasting, and alignment with project timelines and constraints. Working with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that milestone plans, resource plans and dependency maps are maintained and up to date
• Providing leadership to the project and workstream teams – including providing clarity of responsibilities, objectives & deliverables, maintaining focus according to the project vision, and providing the environment to enable project success
Key Skills and Experience:
• Experience leading project teams on technical business change / transformation projects
• Proven and successful track record of managing successful technical business change / transformation project deliveries
• Demonstrable experience working with different stakeholders and customers in the context of project management and business change
• Experience of implementing waterfall or Agile project management approaches
• Demonstrable experience of using software tools to support project delivery, for example Jira, Confluence, MS Project and the full MS Office suite
