Quality Officer
Salary: circa £25,000 p.a. when working full time (35 hours per week)
Contract : 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Location : Hybrid / Home office location but must be able to travel to either Harwell, London or Bristol offices if required for meetings

About you:

We’re ideally looking for someone with:
• Experience of working with management systems / ISO certification maintenance
• Experience of implementing or maintaining ISO 9001 / 27001 / other ISO certifications is desirable
• Experience of working within either project or process driven environment
• Qualification in quality system management is advantageous
• Strong organisational and communication skills is essential
The team:
The quality team, working alongside our information security colleagues, are currently operating and expanding management systems certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO27001:2013. We also provide advice, where required on other ISO standards and management systems.
The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work within our Quality team where you are ensuring the successful operation, performance and expansion of Jisc’s management systems, by taking responsibility for a variety of quality management system (QMS) and information security (ISMS) activities.
Some key aspects of your role will involve:
• Project management to improve and expand our ISO9001:2015 and ISO27001:2013 certification
• Work as the subject matter expert in working with the business on process mapping and developing process flowcharts
• Identifying any ISO conformance gaps following a gap analysis
• Conduct internal management system audits, and with external auditors as required
